Meet Chef Nicole Gaffney

Chef Nicole Gaffney can’t remember a time when her life didn’t revolve around food.

A southern New Jersey native, Nicole grew up watching her Sicilian grandparents make specialties such as homemade pizza and Sunday sugo (aka red gravy). Her father and grandfather were commercial fishermen in Cape May, bringing home the freshest seafood from the Jersey coast.

After studying in the heart of the Bayou at Louisiana State University, Nicole returned to Atlantic City with a degree in Communications and a love for Cajun and Southern food. After working in several fine dining restaurants and managing an Chef Nicole Gaffney Making Stuffed UglyRipe© TomatoesItalian Market, Nicole knew the food industry was where she belonged.

She attended The Academy of the Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, NJ where she strengthened her skills in the kitchen and went on to open The Dinner Belle, a successful personal chef and catering business. The Dinner Belle offers a wide variety of cooking services that help make clients’ meals easier, healthier, and of course much tastier!

Nicole currently serves as the lead culinary instructor for the Brigantine Community Education and Recreation Program and is an active member of the American Personal and Private Chef Association.

Most recently, Nicole signed on to host TV’s “The Best of the Best”, a Philadelphia based show about food, fashion, and lifestyle.

Nicole tries to give back to the community as much as possible by teaching healthy cooking classes at the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City.
